I thought I'd show you how far I am with my witch. It's not much, but at least it's some progress.
I've made the broom earlier. A witch broom has a will of its own, so I thought it needed a face. The eyes are little balls, used in nail art. I think it still needs something to make it more lively, but I don't know what.
The shoes are made of Fimo. I tried making them of a leatherlook fabric, but it was too thick, and didn't follow the curves of the foot. I'm not completely satisfied with this either, but at least it looks like shoes. I do like how the shoestrings have become. It's common thread glued into holes, punched into the clay.
Today I worked on the hands and the wand. I broke one of the hands before, while trying to fit the wand, so I had to make a new one.
The magic wand is more a torch than a wand. I made it with a LED-light in it. I really hope it will work. A LED-light should stay cold, so it should not be any problem with the glue close to it, but I couldn't try it. I did a drastic clean up of my hobbyroom, and since then, I can't find anything!
Now the witch is ready for some clothes, a new challenge. And I still haven't figured out how to put the with on the broom and hang them in the lantern. Upright and stable, that is.

Bye for now,
